Sinelec at the Center of the Smart Road Debate at the Connected Vehicle & Mobility Observatory by PoliMI

Sinelec took part in the closing session of the Connected Vehicle & Mobility 2025 Observatory, promoted by the Politecnico di Milano, on the occasion of the presentation of the 2024–2025 research results. Representing the company was Simone Conso, Connected Mobility Solution Coordinator, who participated in a panel focused on the technological and operational prospects of future mobility.

Simone Conso shared Sinelec’s perspective on several key topics related to the development of connected mobility, offering an overview of the current state of Smart Road technologies and the evolution of the digital ecosystem enabling advanced traffic management and road safety services. Particular attention was given to issues such as system interoperability, the use of smart sensors, and integration with ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems).

During his presentation, Conso also highlighted some of the concrete initiatives already managed by Sinelec in Italy, illustrating significant use cases and focusing on the main project challenges encountered, such as regulatory complexity and integration with existing infrastructure. The benefits observed range from improved road safety to enhanced traffic monitoring capabilities.
